Truma Mover XT

The Truma Mover XT is for single axle caravans. The electronics are equipped with a soft start and stop function. This makes manoeuvring the caravan gently and has less effect on the chassis. Manoeuvring is done with a remote control. (868 MHz) with rotary and slider (2-handed operation).. You can make the caravan turn around the axis.

Technic

The mover has comfort control. This makes it possible to adjust the caravan a little left or right while manoeuvring forwards and backwards. You can also adjust the driving speed dynamically.The mover goes to the tires fully automatically, with the pressure on the tires being controlled by the electronics.
The pressure builds up to 5600 Nm. The mover slides forward 4,00 cm. The rollers are adjusted about 2 cm from the tire, so the pressure of the roller in the tire is maximum 2,00 cm. The actuator motor automatically stops as soon as the pressure is sufficient or as soon as the mover has been pushed fully forward. In case of a completely discharged or defective battery, the mover can easily be removed from the tire with an included special key. Before use, you have to release the safety switch. The integrated indicator shows whether the mover has been placed correctly against the tires. The mover has a built-in automatic brake, therefore the caravan does not roll back on a slope. The wear-resistant maintenance-friendly aluminium drive rollers have a diameter of 7 cm, which ensures optimum grip on the tires.

The manufacturer recommends this mover for caravans up to 2300 kg. It is important to us that taking a short slope of 20% should not be a problem, so we recommend this mover with our set 2 up to a maximum weight of 2000 kg. The actual weight of the mover itself (measured by us) without battery is approximately 33,00 kg. The mover is relatively low in weight.

A mover does not work without a battery and battery charger. That’s why we offer our select range of complete sets to give you everything you need for your mover. We always recommend the Optima Yellow Top 4.2 /55 Ah Battery including the Ctek Multi XS 5.0 Polar charger in a complete set. This complete set has a weight of only 20kg. The German magazines Camping, Cars & Caravans and Reise Mobil International rate Optima batteries as the best battery for caravan movers. We supply these batteries complete with a Ctek charger. As this charger was originally developed by Optima it provides optimum charging for Optima batteries as well as optimum performance and battery life. We base this recommendation on our positive long term experience of Optima batteries. If you already have a good quality battery you can simply buy your chosen mover without any need to purchase a complete set.
